In a nutshell: lots of fruits &amp; vegetables, different types of complex carbs, protein from various sources, less meat, less and better fat. I choose the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/en\/whats-in-season-in-july\/\"><u>fruits and vegetables that are in season<\/u><\/a>, for maximum freshness and taste.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is a fish dish every week (preferably seasonal fishes to help with sustainability) and a poultry-based recipe.\u00a0 Red meat is on the menu every other week, so a week without red meat, is a week with pulses instead. I also estimate the quantities of ingredients based on the recommended portions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And of course, I prioritise taste because if it doesn\u2019t taste good then it\u2019s not worth eating it!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I hope this gives you a little insight into how I work and now I\u2019ll leave you with next week\u2019s plan.[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Monday<span style=\"color: #000000;\">: Chicken pesto pasta<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13587&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1024&#215;512&#8243; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/admin-ace\/menu-fiche-recette.php?id=183&#8243;][vc_column_text]Do you love basil? Do you often find yourself buying a big bunch and then not knowing what to do with what&#8217;s left? If so, you can make a pesto with it like in this chicken pesto pasta recipe. You could even make a whole batch of pesto and then freeze it so that you can have delicious homemade pesto all year round![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Tuesday<\/span>: Spinach salad with blue cheese and blueberries<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13589&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1024&#215;512&#8243; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/admin-ace\/menu-fiche-recette.php?id=184&#8243;][vc_column_text]My mum has a blueberry bush in her garden that is absolutely covered in lots of blueberries.\u00a0 I picked one to taste it the other day and discovered that they are deliciously sweet and ready to be eaten.\u00a0 So, I decided to create this salad with spinach and blue cheese that complement the blueberries really well.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Wednesday<\/span>: Aubergine curry<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13591&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1024&#215;512&#8243; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/admin-ace\/menu-fiche-recette.php?id=185&#8243;][vc_column_text]This recipe was sent to me by a Bon-Apper and when I tried it, I knew instantly that I had to include it in one of the meal plans for all you to try. It&#8217;s lovely and rich with coconut milk and almonds.\u00a0 I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll love this veggie delight too.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Thursday<\/span>: Three bean salad<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13593&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1024&#215;512&#8243; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/admin-ace\/menu-fiche-recette.php?id=186&#8243;][vc_column_text]The three beans in this salad are; green beans, red beans and cannellini beans.\u00a0 It\u2019s a perfect dish for a summer picnic or a nice summer evening. I like to eat it as a main dish as its full of protein from the beans but you could also serve it as a side dish if desired.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Friday<\/span>: Citrus salmon kebabs with quinoa tabbouleh<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;13595&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1024&#215;512&#8243; onclick=&#8221;custom_link&#8221; link=&#8221;https:\/\/www.bonapp.menu\/admin-ace\/menu-fiche-recette.php?id=187&#8243;][vc_column_text]This is a recipe that can easily be barbecued if the weather is nice or cooked in the oven if it&#8217;s not looking so good! The weather is currently sun with a bit of cloud for us so I just might be able to get the BBQ out!
